Inspirations

Hi everyone!
So, today I wanted to tell you a little about who inspired me to create this blog.
Well, even though I have always loved fashion, I thought that the only way I could get a career in it was by being a designer or a model. For a long time I wanted to be a model (well, who hasn't?), but clearly I'm not a good candidate for that. Then, I wanted to be a designer, but even though I still love that idea, I didn't feel that much inspired by it.
Finally I got inspired by Rachel Zoe's career, I got a bigger perspective of what the fashion industry is and how many careers and positions there are. So, I did some research, got more interested in the details and learnt a lot of the big names in the industry.
When I graduated high school I tried to study fashion production abroad, but a few things went wrong and I had to stop. I am now studying design and I hope I can do some internships or courses in fashion.
Recently, I've been obsessed with fashion bloggers, so they are the ones responsible for the creation of this blog.
One of my favorites is Tuulavintage by Jessica Stein. Her outfits, her pictures and her trips are to die for.
 Her blog is a MUST
Kayture  by Kristina Bazan is a must too! She is so beautiful and so talented (she also sings). I think she is a huge inspiration, believe me visit her blog and you'll see.
Gala Gonzalez a Spanish blogger (she blogs in english too don't worry)
Candice Lake she is a model/photographer/blogger/Contributing Style Editor at Vogue and she is currently pregnant! Check her Tumblr too!
Today I discovered Nicole Warne's blog Gary Pepper Girl and I'm OBSESSED with it, she is so fashionable and so gorgeous.

"Just get me a really big closet"

"Just get me a really big closet"  Aren't those the seven word every girl wants to say and want to see come true? A big closet, though it sounds a little materialistic (don't we all love just a little of materialism in our lives?)  we have to accept that for women like us that is THE DREAM. From Prada to a little Zara, the PERFECT closet gives us the chance to feel like a model in a runway show on a daily basis. But going back to reality, and the fact that our closets are probably all forever 21 (there's nothing wrong with that I must say, style is what matters) I have selected some MUST HAVE items. This items go from a white shirt or a blazer that can be Zara or H&M, to a designer purse which I think is totally worth the price, because let's be honest we all deserve to be spoiled once in a while..

1.A white shirt (this is my personal favorite and I try to have as many as I can in different styles)
2. A designer black bag (if you can't buy a designer one, try and get one from Zara, MNG, H&M etc)
3. White jeans
4.Jean
5.Blazer
6.Black heels, try to avoid pumps I don't like them that much and I think they are too common.
7.Converse, superga or vans.
8.A belt (designer)
9.A little black dress obviously, but try to add some color.
10. Finally an accessory, it can be a watch, a ring, a necklace ANYTHING. You need something that is kind of your mark, so wear it everyday.

So there you go, these are the must haves for me in a closet. Thanks for reading.
See you on my next post!

New York, New York

When I found out I was going to ny I couldn't be happier, going to one of the fashion capitals of the world was a must in my bucket list. Though it was most of a touristic trip, and I couldn't walk around it wearing designer clothes, I got to know all these amazing places AND I got to meet the Cake Boss hahaa

Enjoy!

Welcome

Welcome I'm Alejandra and I live in Ecuador. I'm no journalist so I'll improve my writing skills as time goes by, but I decided to start a blog because I love fashion and style and unfortunately in my country the fashion industry is not quite developed, so having a blog is the absolute perfect way of expressing my love for fashion. I hope you enjoy it, I will try to post my daily outfits, my closet's must haves, favorite trends, trips, and also I would like to share some recipes with you guys. I'm looking forward to this, thank you for reading, I'll see you on my next post.
